THE CHALLENGE

Dmeco Engineering was engaged to design, manufacture, and install two modular acoustic enclosures for 2 MW gas-powered gensets, located within a commercial and industrial site.

Each enclosure was engineered to fully integrate the generator sets, switchgear, and gas train, while accommodating radiators and heat exchange units on the upper skid. The solution was developed to meet strict acoustic performance requirements, achieving noise levels in line with 70 dB(A) @1m, alongside a dedicated fire resistance class in compliance with project specifications.

THE SOLUTION

A modular structure featuring fully removable galvanized steel panels. The structure is designed to carry a dedicated rooftop technical skid, where radiators and heat exchange units are seamlessly integrated and fully accessible.

The ventilation system is multi-stage, with native integration of radiators, heat exchangers, fans, and silencers as a core feature of the QSK Series. Each compartment is independently accessible and designed with its own fire-rated classification, ensuring both operational continuity and safety.
Access is total. Double-sealed doors with panic hardware and locking systems guarantee security, while the fully removable panel design allows critical components,such as cylinder heads or heat exchangers, to be serviced or replaced without dismantling the enclosure or interrupting adjacent systems.

Beyond the enclosure itself, Dmeco delivers what truly defines a turnkey system: full integration. From genset installation on anti-vibration mounts to complete process pipework, including supports, cable routing, drainage, and containment every element is engineered to work as one. The QSK platform offers fire resistance REI 240, C5-M anti-corrosion coating with a 10-year warranty for aggressive environments, wind resistance up to 160 km/h, IP56 protection, and full compliance with ISO, IEC, and RoHS standards.
